SALVATION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

SALVATION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
“Both sin and sickness came into the world through the fall of the human race. Therefore, we must look for the healing of both in the savior of the human race. God is as willing to heal believers as He is to forgive unbelievers. Know this; if He was merciful enough to forgive you when you were unconverted, He is merciful enough to heal you now that you are in His family!”
1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
There is a verse of scripture that has always spoken to my heart and it was actually the catalyst that moved me to dedicate my entire life to the Lord:
Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
That’s it! Believe on Jesus and you and your whole family will be saved. Praise God! Then, you can talk to your neighbor and he may see what you see and get saved, then his family, and then his neighbor’s family, and on and on. This is the Golden Chain referred to by Demos Shakarian in his vision that I cited in volume 1. God is always good and He sent Jesus so that none should perish.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
We need to talk to our families, especially extended family members and show them the truth so they have an opportunity to come to salvation. We must pray for those who are reluctant or more in love with the world than with the Lord. Pray that the Holy Spirit would give them no rest until they turn and receive Jesus as Lord, Master and Savior. Pray that the Holy Spirit will send people across their paths to mention Jesus, to demonstrate the love of Jesus and to keep Jesus in the forefront of their minds at all times.
Be bold! Tell them God and Jesus love them, and love them so much that Jesus went to the cross for them and their families. Show them the love of God and allow His love to pour through you into their lives. If they get offended, apologize and tell them you love them too much to not tell them the truth!
Father, please give us holy boldness to tell everyone we meet about the precious gift of your son; especially every member of our families. Dear Holy Spirit, please send people across the paths of our loved ones who will show them and tell them about Jesus and give them no rest whatsoever until they turn and receive Jesus. Please help us by giving us the words they need to hear because we do not know what they need, but you do. So, please give us the words of life for every member of our family in Jesus’ name. Amen.
