HOW TO PREVAIL WITH GOD IN PRAYER
Prevailing with God in prayer is sacrosanct
and it is really what you need. But you see if you are going to prevail with
God in prayer and have results from him, then before you begin such prayers-
whether for yourself, somebody else, or about any situation -the first thing is
to repent of your sins, peradventure you've not been living right. There are
different kinds of sins that people commit: for instance, it can be the sin of
pride and arrogance: if you do not repent of them, you can not prevail with God.
The same is applicable to any other kind of sin. You can not prevail with God
in prayer, because that sin will be in your heart, and like David said,
"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"- Psalm
66:18
The gin shall take him by the heel,
and the robber shall prevail against him.
Psalms 9:19
Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail:
let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
Psalms 12:4
Who have said, With our tongue will
we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
Psalms 65:3
